Gertrude Street Courtyard Residence

The Gertrude Street Courtyard Residence is a purpose-designed High Physical Support home for four residents of Hunter Carers. The design prioritizes comfort, safety, and independence, while fostering social inclusion and community engagement. Each element of the residence reflects a commitment to NDIS compliance, accessibility, and sustainability. The residence combines homely warmth with therapeutic functionality, creating an environment that supports residents’ physical needs while promoting dignity and individuality. The design integrates passive solar orientation, natural ventilation, and water-wise landscaping to minimize environmental impact and operational costs.
